One of the most impressive updates is the incredible power.
An all-new Allison® 10-speed automatic transmission is a segment-first, and,
when paired with the 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine, will deliver
impressive power and capability. This engine is set to deliver a jaw-dropping
445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque.
The 2020 Sierra HD will boast a segment-first Rear Camera
Mirror, which offers a better picture of the road behind you. With the advanced
ProGrade™ Trailering System, you can have up to 15 different camera views
behind the wheel, including a segment-first transparent trailer view that
allows you to see through the trailer.
You’ll be able to find the perfect Sierra for you,
especially with the addition of the AT4 model for the 2020 year. The Sierra AT4
Heavy Duty can take on off-road situations with more ease than other Sierras
and still offers 2500 and 3500 variations. The six-function MultiProTM
tailgate, offering ample storage and loading versatility, is a world-first and
comes available on every trim level (and standard on three).
The 2020 GMC Sierra HD will be available later this year at Ron Smith Buick GMC. If you’ve got big needs — in terms of capability and luxury — you’re not going to want to miss this.

Completely redesigned. The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 is an all-new model this year. It has been redesigned from the ground up to be more capable, more sophisticated, and give buyers like you even more options. It comes with bold new styling and a lot of features to make it the best new truck of the year.
New powertrain options. For 2019, the GMC Sierra 1500 comes with six powertrain options. It comes standard with a 4.3-liter V6. From there, you can choose from among a turbocharged four-cylinder, three powerful V8 options, and 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel later in the model year.

Each year, many of us make resolutions that we hope will turn us into better people. Unfortunately, most of us give up on the goals quickly. If you want to have better success this year, consider these safe driving resolutions. They are things that you can work on almost every day, which will help quickly turn them into safe driving habits.
If your phone is in your hand at any point while you are driving, you are distracted. Make a commitment for 2019 to put your phone away. If you have a particularly bad habit of checking your phone, consider putting it in the glove box where you won’t be able to see it, hear it, or reach it.
Even if you are a good driver, that won’t make up for you ignoring your car’s maintenance. Look in your owner’s manual to find a recommended service schedule. If you have fallen behind on that list, make 2019 your year to get back on track.
One simple way to become a better driver is to use your turn signals every time you turn, change lanes, or merge into traffic. With a simple click of that signal, you let the drivers around you know what you are planning to do next. This can save you from some nasty looks and unwanted honking.
The Sierra Denali has been completely redesigned for 2019, and it’s loaded with outstanding new features. The tough, scratch-resistant carbon-fiber cargo box is an industry first. The MultiPro Tailgate offers six different functions and loading positions to help you tackle tough jobs more efficiently. Towing big loads is easier than ever, too, thanks to the Sierra Denali’s new high-tech ProGrade Trailering System. Inside the cab, you’ll find a multicolor Head-Up Display and a handy rear camera mirror.
For the 2019 Sierra Denali, you can choose among three powerful engines: a standard 5.3-liter V8, an available 6.2-liter V8, and an available 3.0-liter inline-six turbo-diesel. Dynamic Fuel Management technology has made the Sierra Denali’s two V8 options more efficient and effective than ever. In fact, the 6.2-liter V8 can crank out a segment-leading 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
You’ll also enjoy a smooth, comfortable ride inside the 2019 Sierra Denali. Adaptive Ride Control and the Traction Select System are both new, giving you more control over the Sierra Denali’s performance and letting you decide how you want to navigate the road ahead.

If you’re looking for a refined, luxurious SUV, you’re probably considering the 2018 GMC Terrain and Acadia. You might also be wondering what the differences are between the two. Here at Ron Smith Buck GMC, we’ve assembled a short comparison guide to help you make the purchase that’s best for your needs.
Segment and Space
The GMC Terrain is a compact SUV, whereas the Acadia is a mid-size SUV. With all seats in place, the Terrain actually edges out the Acadia and offers 29.6 cubic feet of cargo space compared to the Acadia’s 12.8 cubic feet.
The Acadia offers slightly more power than the Terrain. It comes equipped with a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The Terrain still offers a respectable amount of power, coming equipped with a standard 1.5-liter turbo engine that pumps out 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. Both vehicles have engine upgrade options.
Both the Acadia and Terrain offer about the same interior tech options, including comparable infotainment and smartphone integration options.
The 2019 Buick LaCrosse is getting a new Sport Touring trim, and here at Ron Smith Buick GMC, we’re excited to welcome it for the latest model year. This trim will add luxury features and sophisticated styling, accentuating the already refined LaCrosse.
According to The News Wheel, the Sport Touring, or ST, trim will get body-color accents, a distinct grille, and 19-inch alloy wheels. One of the most notable design changes is the new rear spoiler, a subtle yet bold addition to make the LaCrosse sportier than ever. There are also some minor touches, like added badging and five color options. The wheels are also finished in Midnight Silver.
“The LaCrosse ST emphasizes the importance of design, while also complementing the safety, refinement and technology of our flagship sedan,” said Phil Brook, Buick and GMC Marketing Vice President. “The LaCrosse exemplifies what we mean by attainable luxury, offering Buick’s signature QuietTuning, spirited and efficient performance, and the latest in-car connectivity all at a tremendous value to customers.”
The LaCrosse lineup also includes the 1SV, Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir. Like these five other trims, the Sport Touring comes with a nine-speed transmission and a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque.

According to Motor 1, the new 2019 LaCrosse design will include LED brake lighting, dual exhaust tips, and sleeker contours. The most significant change will be to the front fascia, which has new cues that give the LaCrosse a more aggressive look than before. The LaCrosse’s front will also feature a larger grille. The headlights will be sleeker, providing the LaCrosse with a refreshed but familiar style.
The LaCrosse will also be offered in a brand-new Sport Touring trim level, which will offer a 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine, unique blacked-out features, body-color accents, and 19-inch aluminum wheels.
The LaCrosse will likely carry over some of the powertrain technologies from the 2018 model. The current version has a 194-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with light electrification, which is itself a recent innovation. There’s also the previously mentioned
